I love learning from others. With extra time to reflect during this past week, I thought of recent leadership lessons I’ve learned from influential colleagues and clients.

• “No Worries – It’s All Good”
Cheryl and I work together on large projects. Her consistent words of support and positivity bring immense impact that result in success for our clients and team. It’s so true – mutual respect brings out the best of both of us.

• “Happiness is a Choice”
He’s known as the Happiness Coach. Jim Smith and I did peer coaching together as we both sought to up our game in coaching skills. Jim’s attitude is contagious. His sage wisdom is deep. Check out his blog.

• “Who Are You Tolerating?”
Oooh, this one hit me like a ton of bricks. During a business discussion, my client shared personally how his energy at work was waning from dealing with people and situations that never led to any positive outcomes. In his words, “Maybe it’s time to cut bait and move on.” Without hesitation, my thoughts turned to my own life where I, too, needed to make changes. I’ll bet you get this one, right? Enough said.
